Section IV, The Draft
Online snake, 16 rounds, one broken Wi-Fi router.
Tuesday, September 8 at 8:30 PM ET. The Tuesday after Labor Day, the night before real football starts. Twelve owners, one Zoom, a live board, and somebody with a baby crying in the background. At least four Eagles fans will reach on a Philly backup, a Cowboys fan will take Dallas defense in the 6th, and the commissioner will quietly draft a competent roster.

The Receipts
Screenshots, because somebody always claims they were robbed.
Final Griddy standings on the left, the finished draft order on the right. Filed permanently so nobody relitigates this in the group chat come September.

Format
The clock rules.
- · Two minutes on the clock. Auto-pick on expiration, and yes, it will take a kicker.
- · Everyone on the Zoom, cameras on for rounds 1 through 3. Pants optional but encouraged.
- · Miss the draft and the commish sets your queue. Enjoy your team of backup tight ends.
- · Sixteen rounds, snake format, no trading picks unless you enjoy a two hour group chat argument.
2026 Draft Order
Griddy decided.
The Griddy final standings are in, and that is the order you choose your draft slot. John picks his spot first, Pat gets whatever nobody wanted.
- 1John
- 2Ross
- 3Peter
- 4Steve
- 5Jeremy
- 6Joel
- 7Matt Minteer
- 8Aaron
- 9Kent
- 10Matt Kramer
- 11Bob
- 12Pat
Historically the order was pulled at random, which was fine until people decided randomness was a personal attack. Now you have nobody to blame but your own Griddy guesses.
Last Year's Order Reveal
A Cameo from Niko Lalos.
Retired New York Giants practice squad legend, reading out our draft order like it was the actual NFL Draft. Setting a bar that this year's Griddy standings will struggle to clear.
